Washington, DC – Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES), welcomed the introduction of the American Nuclear Infrastructure Act of 2020 (S. 4897), bipartisan legislation to revitalize the United States’ nuclear infrastructure, reduce carbon emissions and strengthen our nation’s economy and national security.
In response to the bill’s introduction, CRES Executive Director Heather Reams offered the following statement:
“Nuclear energy is an integral component of our nation’s clean energy future. There is widespread consensus that we cannot meet a zero-emissions future without nuclear energy.
