These Senators understand and recognize the value of these programs and what they contribute to fostering our nation’s ingenuity and innovation as well as our competitiveness in the world,” said Reams.
Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) on Energy Department Research and Development:
“Clean energy is at the center of the research effort that we ought to be doing in the United States and ARPA-E may be the very best way we have to do it,” said Senator Alexander.
Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) on Energy Department Research and Development:
“The United States is the world leader in science and energy. We like it that way and we want to keep it that way…the core of that excellence is the work done at our national laboratories,” said Senator Murkowski.
