CRES Applauds Senators Alexander and Murkowski for Supporting Advanced Research Funding for the Energy Department

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Managing Director Heather Reams released the following statement on Energy Secretary Rick Perry’s appearance before the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development hearing to review the President’s FY2018 funding request and budget justification for the U.S. Department of Energy.

 
“Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions thanks Senators Alexander and Murkowski for their support for the Energy Department’s research and development functions, specifically the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). These Senators understand and recognize the value of these programs and what they contribute to fostering our nation’s ingenuity and innovation as well as our competitiveness in the world,” said Reams.
