The 6th Annual CRES and CEN Congressional Fly-In

Last week, CRES hosted its sixth annual congressional fly-in in partnership with the Conservative Energy Network (CEN). We convened nearly 50 local clean energy advocates, business leaders and state and local officials from 17 states in Washington, D.C. to meet with more than 100 Republican congressional offices and discuss policies that advance an all-of-the-above energy portfolio.

The fly-in provides a platform for CRES and CEN to discuss key issues, share perspectives and influence decision makers to shape the clean energy legislative agenda. As CRES President Heather Reams said, we have a strong story to tell about the impact clean energy is making in communities across the country—from job creation to lower energy costs. Our message:

  • Clean energy in America is being held back by red tape and regulatory uncertainty.
  • Clean energy incentives & investments increase American competitiveness while driving down global emissions.
  • Clean energy innovation is a pillar of American energy dominance.

These commonsense principles will bolster American energy production, curb global emissions and fortify the U.S. economy. You can learn more about our priorities in an op-ed published in RealClearEnergy by CRES President Heather Reams and CEN CEO John Szoka HERE.
