WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams issued the following statement on the fiscal year 2020 Energy and Water Development funding bill from House Appropriations.

“We are encouraged to see the FY20 Energy and Water Development funding bill maintain a strong investment in programs that allows the clean energy sector to thrive and grow, such as the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) and energy storage, in addition to the office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE),” said Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams. “CRES applauds Republicans who continue to champion these investments for our nation’s economic growth and national security through our energy leadership and independence. CRES encourages Congress to work in a bipartisan manner to continue to address these critical priorities.”
