He honored the legacy of Teddy Roosevelt, championed the cause of conservation in spirit and action, and sought to make the world safer and freer for future generations. The legacy he leaves behind is one of a fighter whose word was good, whose faith was strong, and whose love of the natural beauty and wonder of our nation and resources will stand unmatched for years to come.”
