Washington, D.C. – Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) launched a digital campaign featuring prominent South Carolinians urging state residents to tell America’s leaders why their state’s natural wonders must be protected. The latest video ad includes small business owners and GOP leaders, including Republican Party Chairman Matt Moore, who believe the development of an innovative and common sense energy policy is crucial to protecting our nation’s environment and national security.

“I want our primary voters here in South Carolina to ask about energy issues because it matters for our national security, it matters for our environment, and it matters for people across the state,” said Matt Moore, Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party.

The digital campaign encourages state residents not only to demonstrate the impact of renewable resources and environment conservation but to also ask tough questions of 2016 presidential candidates when it comes to clean energy.

“From the vistas of Table Rock to the forests of Congaree Swamp, South Carolina conservatives are passionate about protecting their state’s natural wonders. This digital campaign aims to make their voices heard ahead of the upcoming primaries and provides them with the opportunity to directly communicate with presidential candidates about the need for a clean energy future in America,” said CRES Executive Director James Dozier.
