CRES Welcomes New Vice President of External Relations Jaime Werner
WASHINGTON — Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) today announced the addition of new Vice President of External Relations Jaime Werner, who joins CRES from the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF).
“I am proud to welcome Jaime to the CRES team, and I look forward to working with her as she expands CRES’ impact through partnerships with companies and organizations aligned with our mission,” said CRES President Heather Reams. “The work we do at CRES is multiplied with the support of partners who also want to ensure Americans have access to reliable, affordable and clean energy. As a proven executor, Jaime understands this and has the expertise to take our external relations endeavors to the next level.”

Prior to CRES, Jaime led the Congressional Management Foundation’s (CMF) citizen engagement work ensuring citizen advocates had access to the most up-to-date guidance and best practices when engaging with Congress. Earlier, she served as the Director of Strategic Partner Relations at the American Retirement Association, where she focused on outreach to financial institutions working in the 403(b)/457 retirement market. Originally from Ukiah, California, Jaime made her way to Washington, D.C., by way of Union College in Schenectady, New York, where she earned her B.A. in political science and philosophy with a focus on political ethics.
