CRES Statement On Congressional Review Act (CRA)

November 18, 2015

Washington, D.C. – James Dozier, Executive Director of Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions, released the following statement this evening on the Congressional Review Act (CRA) vote in the U.S. Senate:

“Senators Kelly Ayotte, Susan Collins and Mark Kirk deserve to be commended for showing yet again that clean energy is not a partisan issue,” Dozier said.

“From fighting for re-authorization of the Land and Water Conservation Fund, to the launch of the Senate Working Group on Energy & Environmental Policy, to acknowledging the impact of climate change, common sense Republican leaders are demonstrating refreshing and emerging leadership on modernizing our nation’s outdated renewable energy development laws. CRES is committed to ensuring that our elected leaders remain focused on formulating a comprehensive plan that advances America’s energy independence, strengthens our economy, and preserves clean air and water,” Dozier concluded.
