CRES Statement on Climate Solutions Caucus Members

NOVEMBER 7, 2019 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams released the following statement after the announcement of additional members joining the recently launched bipartisan Climate Solutions Caucus.

“The newly formed Senate Climate Solutions Caucus is comprised of a powerful lineup of Republicans who embrace taking commonsense steps to address our changing climate and the role that clean energy can play in lowering emissions. With new members including Republican Senators Graham, Murkowski, and Romney, we are hopeful that the Caucus will bring together both sides of the aisle to advance the pragmatic solutions that voters support. Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions thanks Senators Braun and Coons for heightening the importance of this issue and fortifying a platform by which more Republicans in Congress can champion actionable policies that balance our nation’s economic, energy and environmental needs.” – Citizens for Responsible Solutions Executive Director Heather Reams
