Washington — Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Founding President and Board Chair James Dozier today issued the following statement regarding the 2026 midterm election:
“CRES was proud to support a strong slate of clean energy leaders for re-election and congratulates those who will return to Washington in January,” said James Dozier, CRES Founding President and Board Chair. “CRES remains more committed than ever to advancing conservative, clean energy policy that can withstand the everchanging political climate in D.C. Our team is eager to build upon our existing relationships in Congress, recruit new champions and put bipartisan wins on the board in the next Congress.”
“With the election now behind us, it’s important to recognize that the work of the 119th Congress is not yet finished, and voters made clear yesterday that affordability is top of mind,” Dozier continued. “We strongly urge both chambers to return to Washington and swiftly pass the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act, legislation that will make it easier to build the infrastructure our country needs to meet growing energy demand—effectively lowering costs across the board. Every district in the country, regardless of political leanings, is positioned to reap the benefits when this bill is signed into law.”
