WASHINGTON, D.C.

“Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions thanks Senator Susan Collins for her continued leadership on issues of energy affordability and reliability for her constituents,” said CRES Executive Director Heather Reams. “Senator Collins is a CRES Clean Energy Champion award winner, and her strong guidance on energy legislation, from introducing the Better Energy Storage Technology Act (BEST ACT) to her unfailing support for the investment tax credit for energy storage, shows her commitment to clean energy. We know that storage technologies makes energy more efficient, promotes a cleaner environment, and catalyzes job growth in Maine. We encourage Congress to swiftly act by including this important provision in end-of-year tax legislation.”
