WASHINGTON, D.C.
— Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) today announced the launch of a radio advertising campaign in Iowa urging U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) to support legislation that will expand the investment tax credit for energy storage, a policy that’s key to jobs and a cleaner environment. Media can listen to the Iowa radio spot here.

The 60-second radio ad will air in the Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Omaha-Council Bluffs, Quad Cities, Sioux City, and Waterloo-Cedar Falls metro markets from Monday, December 9th through Sunday, December 15th

“Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions thanks Senator Chuck Grassley for working to provide affordable and reliable energy to his constituents, and urges him to support energy storage legislation,” said CRES Executive Director Heather Reams. “The investment tax credit for energy storage would make energy more resilient and efficient, promote a cleaner environment, while creating good-paying clean energy jobs in Iowa. We encourage Congress to swiftly act by including this important provision in end-of-year tax legislation.”
