CRES Commends Senate Panel Energy Package

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams released the following statement after the introduction the S.2657, the American Energy Innovation Act (AEIA), a bipartisan package of energy bills to support clean energy technology, research, and development.

“By introducing a bipartisan package of energy measures designed to advance clean energy development, storage and efficiency, Senator Murkowski and the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee have demonstrated that there is common ground that can be achieved in making clean energy investment a priority in combatting environmental challenges.  Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) commends Chairman Murkowski and Ranking Member Manchin for their commitment to investments in innovation that will bring renewable energy development to the next level and enhance the capability for energy storage.  CRES looks forward to working with Senator Murkowski and her colleagues to advance this legislation through the Congress.”
