CRES Applauds Senate Panel For Passing Key Energy Efficiency and Storage Bills

September 25, 2019 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams released the following statement after the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources advanced legislation on energy efficiency, energy storage, and other measures that will bolster America’s energy resiliency.

“Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions commends the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee for its continued leadership in moving legislation that addresses our energy needs ,” said Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams. “The bipartisan support for these bills, especially energy storage and the reduction of emissions in the industrial sector, sends a strong signal to the Senate on the importance of the Committee’s work.
