SEPTEMBER 24, 2019 — Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) formally announced U.S. Senator Cory Gardner as a 2019 Clean Energy Champion. Sen. Gardner will be recognized at the CRES Clean Energy Champion Awards Reception to be held during National Clean Energy Week (September 23-27, 2019).

Co-sponsored S.1685, The Launching Energy Advancement and Development through Innovations for Natural Gas Act, which would incentivize research and development of carbon capture technology for natural gas to ensure a reliable, affordable, and environmentally sound energy supply. The legislation was reported by the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee in July 2019.
