CRES Announces Nearly Quarter of a Million Dollar Ad Buy in Ten Congressional Districts

WASHINGTON, November 2, 2022 — Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) unveiled a six-figure advertising campaign across ten congressional districts to thank members of Congress for their efforts to unlock American resources, lower energy costs, and spur economic development.

“CRES is committed to advocating for America’s energy champions who are fighting in Congress for policies that will reduce global emissions through commonsense, all-of-the-above solutions,” said Heather Reams, president of CRES. “The ten Congressional candidates included in this digital campaign are leaders in the fight for policies that will unlock the development and deployment of clean energy technologies. Reducing emissions doesn’t mean we need radical policies like the Green New Deal or banning fossil fuels. Investing in American energy means more good-paying jobs, less pollution, and a cleaner environment.”

The campaign totals nearly $250,000 and consists of digital and peer-to-peer (P2P) advertising in each of the ten districts. Members of Congress supported by the digital campaign are Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.), Rep. John Curtis (R-Utah), Rep. Garret Graves (R-La.), Rep. Frank Lucas (R-Okla.), Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa), Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), Rep. Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-Pa.), and Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.).
