CRES Announces Ad Buy Highlighting Governor Henry McMaster’s Strong Record in Support of Clean Energy Solutions for South Carolina

Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) announced a $175,000 television and digital ad buy highlighting Governor Henry McMaster’s strong clean energy record.

“Henry McMaster has been fighting for South Carolina’s future. First as Lieutenant Governor and now as Governor, his commitment to the development of advanced energy technologies like natural gas and solar power is helping the state’s economy and job market thrive. At the same time, these domestic sources of energy are making America more energy independent and secure by helping break our dependence on oil from hostile nations. CRES applauds Governor McMaster for his strong record in support of readily abundant, affordable and domestic clean energy solutions for South Carolina,” CRES Chairman and Executive Director James Dozier said.

  • Defended South Carolina’s pristine coastline and coastal shoreline by requesting an exclusion from the National Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program.
  • Encouraged clean energy investment as Lieutenant Governor, which helped to revitalize South Carolina’s economy and bring new employment and manufacturing opportunities to the Palmetto State.
