CRES Adds to Government Relations Team, Announces Hire of John Nagle as Associate

Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) today announced that John Nagle has been hired to serve as a government relations associate. Nagle previously served as a major gift officer at Stand Together, a philanthropic community that supports organizations working to remove barriers in education, business, communities, and government.

“CRES has witnessed tremendous growth this past year, and I am excited to continue to expand the quality of our government relations team,” said CRES Vice President of Government Relations Shawn Affolter. “John’s unique background will strengthen CRES’ visibility on clean energy issues and enhance our ability to be an effective advocate for meaningful policy change.”

While at Stand Together, Nagle held various positions including major gift officer, member relations associate, member research associate, and development intern. A 2017 graduate of American University, Nagle also served as a public relations intern at Southwest Strategies LLC and as a Congressional intern in U.S. Representative Rod Blum’s (R-IA) Washington, D.C., office.
