WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Managing Director Heather Reams issued the following statement regarding the Senate Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
“Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions congratulates Senate Republican Leadership and Members of the Senate Finance Committee for proposing comprehensive tax reform. CRES applauds the provisions that support the clean energy sector, including efforts to preserve the tax credit framework for renewable energy investment and production tax credits. This provides stability and certainty for businesses and investors. As the process moves forward, we are hopeful that the Senate will adopt additional provisions that promote the long-term growth and continued success of the clean energy sector,” said Reams.
