At COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Rep. Pfluger carried this message to the global stage. Leading a bipartisan Congressional delegation for the House Energy and Commerce Committee, he demonstrated the critical role American leadership plays in addressing climate challenges while bolstering economic and energy security. Joining him in this effort were fellow Republican representatives Troy Balderson (R-Ohio), Jay Obernolte (R-Calif.), Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) and John James (R-Mich.). Each of these measures reinforces his belief that America energy must be unleashed, and that the U.S. can and should lead the globe in clean energy innovation and emissions reduction.
He has also backed key legislation like the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act, Rep. Ryan Zinke’s (R-Mont.) resolution against a carbon tax, Rep. Balderson’s Congressional Review Act (CRA) to reverse the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) disastrous Clean Power Plan 2.0 and Rep.
