In the latest edition of Clean Energy Insider, CRES President Heather Reams discusses the Treasury’s proposed guidance for the Section 45V hydrogen tax credits, including the comments recently submitted by CRES Forum and the promising future of clean hydrogen in America.
“Hydrogen production is poised to be a key vehicle for the United States to assert our global energy leadership, enhance American competitiveness and lower emissions—but only if the industry is allowed sufficient room to grow.

The bottom line is the hydrogen industry needs fewer, not additional, barriers. Producers should be able to utilize all-of-the-above energy sources to generate clean hydrogen, rather than pick winners and losers.”
