Celebrating the 2023 Sustainable Energy in America Factbook

Last week, the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) and Bloomberg NEF released the 2023 Sustainable Energy in America Factbook. The Factbook provides an in-depth look at the trends in the energy sector—from energy efficiency, renewable energy, and hydrogen to natural gas and carbon capture, utilization and storage—and provides new data and analysis about long-term trends for the U.S. energy economy.

Amy Farrell, CRES Forum senior vice president of government and public affairs, participated in a panel for the launch of the Factbook:

\"\"“CRES Forum is proud to sponsor the release of the Sustainable Energy in America Factbook. As the Factbook confirms, the United States’ clean energy sector is now hardwired into the U.S. economy, and deployment of solutions to address industrial emissions, such as carbon capture and hydrogen deployment, are poised to increase America’s competitive advantage and reduce global emissions. To fully realize the economic and environmental opportunity at hand, we must remove regulatory and permitting barriers to accessing these resources and build the infrastructure needed to support the projected energy build out.”

CRES President Heather Reams and BCSE President Lisa Jacobson penned a joint op-ed to celebrate the release and highlight key facts.

American business, government break clean energy records in 2022
