At the Republican National Convention (RNC), CRES represented conservative leadership in advancing practical and pragmatic energy solutions. Our presence highlighted a commitment to integrating clean energy policies into the conservative agenda, promoting economic prosperity, job creation and America’s energy independence.
During the RNC, CRES partnered with the Conservative Climate Foundation (CCF), American Conservation Coalition (ACC), ClearPath, Centerline Liberties, Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Invenergy, Southern Company and America’s Energy 2024 to host two events: the Conservative Climate Reception and the American Energy CARES (Clean, Affordable, Reliable Energy Solutions) After Hours Convention Celebration.
The events were well-attended by industry leaders and delegates from states across the country, as well as Members of Congress from the Conservative Climate Caucus, including Reps. John Curtis (R-Utah), Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa), Blake Moore (R-Utah), Celeste Maloy (R-Utah), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-Ore.), Andrew Garbarino (R-N.Y.), Anthony D’Esposito (R-N.Y.), Stephanie Bice (R-Okla.) and Kelly Armstrong (R-N.D.). Even former Republican National Committee Chair & MKE Host Committee Chairman Reince Priebus joined to share how our work and the work of our partners is helping Republicans across the country talk about environmental issues in an authentically conservative way.
Throughout the week, we spoke with leaders at the RNC who embody CRES’ commitment to promoting conservative energy policies and highlighted stories of organizations driving significant advancements in clean energy innovation. You can watch CRES President Heather Reams chat with SEIA President & CEO Abigail Ross Hopper HERE.
We left Milwaukee with a renewed sense of determination to pursue homegrown energy, American innovation and pragmatic energy solutions. The United States does it best, and conservatives have the answers to unleash affordable, reliable and clean American-made energy.
