WASHINGTON, D.C. – Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) Executive Director Heather Reams issued the following statement in response to Senator Lamar Alexander (TN) unveiling a Republican response to climate change.
“CRES applauds Senator Lamar Alexander for his proposal to make significant federal investment in affordable, clean energy, with a focus on breakthrough technologies. His ‘New Manhattan Project for Clean Energy’ and call to expand energy research funding is the kind of leadership that is needed to substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We thank the Senator for his continued leadership and look forward to working with him to advance his proposal,” said Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions Executive Director Heather Reams.
