WASHINGTON – Today, Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) President Heather Reams issued the following statement in response to the decision by the Department of the Interior to lift the stop work order on the Empire Wind 1 project:
“I’m pleased to learn the Trump Administration has lifted the stop work order on the Empire Wind 1 project, which was approved following a lengthy and scrupulous permitting process that started in 2017,” said CRES President Heather Reams. “This project is supporting American workers, port reinvestment, domestic manufacturing and homegrown energy development across the country—all advancing American energy dominance.”
