CRES Endorses Rep. Greg Murphy for Congress

WASHINGTONCitizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) endorsed Rep. Greg Murphy (R-N.C.) for North Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District.

“Now more than ever, we need policymakers in Congress who embrace commonsense energy solutions that lower costs for American families and reduce emissions. CRES is proud to endorse Rep. Murphy for doing just that,” said CRES President Heather Reams. “Rep. Murphy has a clear understanding of the importance of addressing our nation’s growing energy needs through an all-of-the-above approach. He is not only a leader on Capitol Hill as a vice chair of the House Conservative Climate Caucus — but is a warrior for the needs of his district, and we are optimistic that voters will recognize his dedication and support him at the polls.”

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) this upcoming election,” said Rep. Murphy. “America needs a vision for sustainable energy that allows us to thrive, not the bleak future climate alarmists embrace. I am proud to be a champion for commonsense energy solutions in Congress and look forward to continuing working with CRES to make them a reality.”

The CRES-endorsed candidates for the 2024 election have each played a leading role in advancing clean energy policies that reduce global emissions while addressing America’s energy needs. As a vice chair of the U.S. House Conservative Climate Caucus (CCC), a group dedicated to pragmatic energy and environmental solutions, Rep. Murphy champions key clean energy initiatives. These include streamlining permitting processes, bolstering critical mineral supply chains, promoting domestic energy production, advancing clean hydrogen, nuclear energy and other next-generation technologies. CRES is proud to endorse candidates, like Rep. Murphy, who will continue to support clean, reliable and affordable energy sources, while ensuring we meet growing energy demands crucial for maintaining national security.
