Mark Riedy joins CRES Forum Board of Directors, Dan Crowley joins CRES and CRES Forum Board of Directors, Jonny Lobeck promoted to Chief Operating Officer
WASHINGTON – Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) and CRES Forum today announced the appointment of Mark Riedy to the CRES Forum Board of Directors, the appointment of Dan Crowley to both the CRES and CRES Forum Board of Directors, and the promotion of Jonny Lobeck to Chief Operating Officer.
Riedy, a partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP and leader of the firm’s energy practice, and Crowley, a partner at K&L Gates and congressional expert, both bring decades of experience navigating complex federal policymaking and implementation. Their insights will be invaluable as CRES and CRES Forum continue to expand educational programming and reach.
“Energy is at the heart of every policy discussion happening in Washington, D.C., and CRES and CRES Forum play a pivotal role in ensuring the right people are equipped with the best resources,” said Heather Reams, CRES President and CEO. “The addition of Mark and Dan to our Board of Directors will immediately enhance our strategic efforts as we engage with conservative audiences to advance durable clean energy solutions.”
“I am also thrilled to announce the promotion of Jonny Lobeck from Chief Human Resources Officer to Chief Operating Officer,” Reams continued. “Jonny’s strategic insight and commitment to CRES’ long-term success continue to elevate our work, and I’m excited for the role he will play in our next chapter.”
“The rapid commercial development and deployment of a myriad of new and cutting-edge clean energy technologies and projects across the U.S. can only occur through the dedication of private equity, project finance, capital markets and other funding sources. These technologies and projects are necessary to establish and maintain U.S. energy dominance to drive lower consumer energy costs, new and increased revenue streams, thriving job growth, among other significant attributes which contribute to a strong nation,” said Riedy. “I am honored to have the opportunity to join the Board of CRES Forum which oversees an organization dedicated to the promotion, development and expansion of such energy technologies, projects and resultant attributes.”
“U.S. capital markets foster innovation, support job creation and offer unrivaled opportunities for investors. I am excited to join an organization dedicated to market-based solutions to the rapidly increasing need for reliable, sustainable and clean energy sources,” said Crowley.
“I’m honored to step into the role of Chief Operating Officer to continue advancing the things that make CRES such an effective organization, particularly our staff and their professional growth. At the heart of our success is our people — their expertise, their resilience and their belief in what CRES can accomplish,” said Lobeck. “Over the past year, we’ve mapped ambitious goals that align every team to our mission, and I’m excited to carry this work forward. Together, we can create the clarity and structure that allow each member of the team to do their best work.”
