CRES Continues to Grow Executive and Communications Teams

CRES Promotes Tiffany Koch as Chief of Staff and Welcomes New Media and Communications Manager Sarah Geary

WASHINGTON – Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) today announced Tiffany Koch, who previously served as executive assistant for CRES, has been promoted to chief of staff, and Sarah Geary, who previously worked in government and public affairs at LKQ Corporation, has joined CRES in a newly created position as media and communications manager.

“These team developments reflect CRES’ greater transition to bolster our in-house operations and grow our engagement with Republican lawmakers and the public on policy that provides for cleaner, more affordable energy for all Americans,” said CRES President Heather Reams. “Tiffany has a proven track record at CRES managing our office and producing results, and welcoming the fresh talent of Sarah will further strengthen our communications team.”

“Over my two years at CRES, I have gained invaluable experience I will undoubtedly take with me as I step into this new role as chief of staff,” said Koch. “I look forward to using my skills to advance our team’s short- and long-term projects and manage internal relations.”

“I am thrilled to join the CRES team and get to work promoting conservative solutions for clean energy innovation and policy reform,” said Geary. “An all-of-the-above energy approach is key to securing America’s energy independence, and I am honored to have the opportunity to support that mission here at CRES.”

Prior to her role at CRES, Geary worked for LKQ Corporation, a Fortune 300 company, in its government and public affairs department facilitating federal and state affairs, as well as PAC activities. Previously, she worked for a DC-area public affairs firm, PLUS Communications, handling media monitoring and copywriting for a wide range of special interest groups and corporations. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and a certificate in public affairs communications.
