“CRES congratulates Speaker Kevin McCarthy on his election and swearing in of the 118th Congress. We look forward to working with the Speaker and House Republicans to advance American solutions that increase economic prosperity, lower energy prices, and reduce global emissions.
“CRES applauds the overwhelmingly bipartisan creation of the U.S. House Select Committee on the Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. The Committee will provide an important platform to highlight America’s competitive advantage of manufacturing goods and products with a lower carbon footprint. We hope that the Committee will promote the importance of American innovation and the need to decrease our dependence on adversarial foreign nations while increasing our economic and national security.
