CRES Celebrates Growing Government Relations Team and Internal Promotions

WASHINGTONCitizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES) today announced the addition of two Directors of Government Relations, Ryan McManus and Tommy Reynolds, as well as several internal promotions.  

Mary Collins Howell now serves as Vice President of Communications and Sarah Geary was promoted to Director of Communications and Media Relations. Ashlie Dolce was also promoted to Director of Events and Alexander Diaz was promoted to Government Relations Associate.  

“I am excited to welcome Ryan and Tommy to CRES, where I have no doubt they will excel and drive our efforts to advance all forms of American-made energy,” said CRES President Heather Reams. “Their experience and expertise will be invaluable to our mission, and I look forward to seeing all that they accomplish. I also want to congratulate Mary Collins, Sarah, Ashlie and Alexander on their well-deserved promotions and thank them for their dedication and hard work at CRES.”

Before CRES, McManus served as a Government Relations Manager for the American Public Works Association, where he was primarily responsible for policies concerning water resources and permitting reform. His professional experience also includes working in various roles on political campaigns, serving as a lead policy staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives for his local congresswoman and as an adviser to his local county supervisor. Ryan is a proud Virginian having grown up in Manassas and being a graduate of the College of William & Mary with a degree in Economics and French. He now resides in Alexandria with his wife. 

Before joining CRES, Reynolds was the Legislative Director for Rep. Buddy Carter from Georgia’s First Congressional District. There, he led the Congressman’s work as Chairman of the Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Minerals Subcommittee of the Energy and Commerce, and advanced legislation and policies to promote U.S. nuclear energy leadership, expand access to critical materials, incentivize advance manufacturing and promote energy production. Tommy is from Georgia and previously worked for Rep. Rob Woodall and Senator Johnny Isakson. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Georgia Southern University.
