Carolyn Spector serves as the Digital Communications Senior Associate at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES), where she manages the organization’s digital platforms and develops messaging across web, social media, and email channels. Carolyn brings expertise in media relations, social media strategy, and strategic communications to champion all-of-the-above energy solutions.
Before joining CRES, Carolyn spent nearly five years at Bracewell LLP’s Policy Resolution Group (PRG), where she served as Media Specialist on the communications team. There, she managed media relationships and social media strategy across multi-client portfolios in the energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and national security sectors. She also produced and grew multiple podcasts, including The Lobby Shop and Madam Policy, focused on politics and key policy leaders.
A native of Fairfax County, Virginia, Carolyn graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and political science.
