Congressional Western Caucus Chairman Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.) introduced a resolution to advocate for an “all-of-the-above” American energy strategy. The resolution, which was introduced with the support of 30 additional lawmakers, stresses the importance of U.S. energy production and a diverse energy portfolio to strengthen domestic energy security and leadership by highlighting the need for an increased domestic mineral supply chain as well as the importance of clean energy resources like hydropower, nuclear, wind, and solar.
CRES understands when the United States produces energy, global emissions go down. We proudly joined a diverse coalition to endorse the resolution:
“Energy produced in the United States is among the cleanest in the world. CRES firmly believes that an all-of-the-above energy strategy is critical to our clean energy future,” said CRES President Heather Reams. “Through this resolution, Chairman Dan Newhouse and the Congressional Western Caucus are reaffirming the United States’ commitment to secure, reliable, and clean American energy, thus strengthening our role as a global leader in emissions reductions.”
