Kamil Lungu is a Government Relations Senior Associate at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES), where he advocates for federal policy that promote cleaner energy solutions designed to decrease emissions, support U.S. energy security and competitiveness and boost domestic economic development. Prior to joining CRES, Kamil served as the Public Affairs Government Relations Coordinator at Topsoe A/S, a Danish clean energy technologies company, where he supported global government relations and policy communications efforts to advance low-carbon energy solutions and next-generation fuels. He previously also interned at Cheniere Energy and the Corn Refiners Association, where he too focused on advancing polices that support U.S. energy security and increase U.S. energy exports.
Kamil is a native of Chicago and holds a BA in International Relations from Pomona College. He also holds an MA in European Studies with a certificate in International Business Diplomacy from Georgetown Walsh School of Foreign Service.
Outside of work, he is active in DC’s Polish-American community and leads the young professional’s program at the Kosciuszko Foundation.
