Alyssa Jones is the Advocacy and Communications Manager at Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions (CRES). She collaborates across departments to develop and execute communications, digital and web strategies that support advocacy priorities. Before joining CRES, Alyssa served as the Communications Manager for the Western Caucus Foundation, where she led all communications, digital and technical initiatives. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts in National Security and Foreign Affairs, a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Virginia Tech. Most recently, she completed a Software Engineering program focusing on web application development from Virginia Tech’s Continuing and Professional Education department. She is originally from southwest Virginia.
